Dream On Australian Shepherds
Current Residents Co-Owned Dogs Bred by Dogs

AKC and ASCA Registered Australian Shepherds
Deborah L. Pollard

I purchased my first Australian Shepherd in 1990 because I wanted a dog that could do it all. I spent more than a year looking for just the right dog. And, as most novices do, I wanted a Blue Merle female that I could show and do performance with. Finding Dream was such a stroke of luck - I couldn’t have started off with a better girl!

Over the years I have been very successful with my dogs earning multiple championships and performance titles. They excel in the show ring, in herding, obedience, agility, tracking, flyball, and more – including protection and therapy dogs!

The Australian Shepherd is definitely not the breed for everyone - they are a high energy, strong willed dog. If you are considering having an Aussie join your family, please do a lot of research. Contact both parent clubs, the United States Australian Shepherd Association and the Australian Shepherd Club of America.

I have a small breeding program, only producing a litter every 5 years or so, when I am ready for a new dog. I strive to produce versatile dogs with good health, temperament, brains and beauty. Because my breeding program is so small, I'm proud to say that I've recently teamed up with Faith Shimamoto of Kugaroo Aussies. We have co-bred two litters together with Oscar and Daphne. Faith has been an awesome inpsiration and just plain fun to work with!

I aim to make sure that all of my puppies are purchased as family pets and companions first and foremost. Anything that the pups are able to go on and do either in the show ring or performance arenas to me is just icing on the cake.

While I try to breed healthy, intelligent dogs, free of defects, the Australian Shepherd breed is known to have several significant health risks, and even with all the proper screening, problems can arise. I work hard to insure that all of my breeding stock is certified free of inheritable defects.

I support my puppy buyers and see that any and all questions they have are answered and that they are happy with their purchase for the life of the dog.
